Privacy Policy
This is a small, independent study site. The short version: it collects the minimum needed to sign you in and remember your practice scores, it shows no advertising, and it sells nothing to anyone.
PDFs you import never leave your device. The import feature reads the file inside your browser and stores the result in your browser. The document is never uploaded to this site or to anyone else.
What is collected
If you use the site without signing in, nothing is sent anywhere. Your practice history is written to your own browser's local storage and stays on that device.
If you sign in with Google, the following is stored:
- From your Google account: your email address, your display name, and your profile picture URL. Nothing else is requested, and there is no access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.
- Your practice results: which questions you answered, what you chose, whether it was correct, your section and composite scores, and how long each session took.
No IP-address logging, behavioural tracking, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics are used on this site.
Why it is collected
To sign you in, and to show your own scores back to you across your devices. That is the whole purpose. Your data is never used to train models, is never sold, and is never shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Where it is stored
Sign-in and practice results are held in a database run by Supabase, acting as a processor on our behalf. Access is restricted at the database level so that each account can read and write only its own row; no user can reach another user's results. The site itself is served by Cloudflare Pages.
Cookies and local storage
No advertising or tracking cookies are set. The site uses your browser's local storage to hold your sign-in session, your preferences, and a copy of your progress, and IndexedDB to hold any test you have imported. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
Your choices
- See your data: it is all on the Progress page.
- Take a copy: the Export button on the Progress page downloads everything as a JSON file.
- Delete it: sign in, open your name in the top right, and choose Delete my data. This erases your results from the server and from the device immediately. You can also revoke this site's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com → Data & privacy → Third-party apps.
If you are in the UK, EU, California, or another place with statutory data rights, those rights — access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection — are honoured. The self-service tools above cover most of them; for anything else, write to hello@soulacy.io and expect a reply within 30 days.
How long it is kept
Practice results are kept until you delete them or delete your account. An account that has not been used for two years may be removed along with its data.
Children
This site is intended for students aged 13 and over. Accounts are not knowingly created for children under 13, and no personal information is knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child under 13 has signed in, write to hello@soulacy.io and the account and its data will be deleted promptly.
Younger students are welcome to use the site without signing in, which sends no data anywhere at all.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or why, the date at the top will change and a notice will appear on the site. Continuing to use it after that means accepting the revised policy.
